    That is true....

    I bought some old rusty circular saw, don't even know the brand at a pawn shop and it has never let me down either.... I couldn't justify buying a dewalt if I wasn't going to use it all the time....

    this is another option I have looked at, I probably will go with this kit, the bosch, or just build on own and buy a highend fence/miter guage setup.

    Here's another place for a top and fence and it's here in San Antonio. http://www.jointech.com/routertops.htm I've bought some router bits from them before good quality stuff.     I have a Rigid cordless drill. When I bought it, they had a lifetime guarantee on it and the batteries. I've used the warranty once, so far. Got a new drill AND batteries.

    I also believe that Hilti has a lifetime guarantee as well. And you pay for it.
