Thread: painting inside of a canopy?

  1. #1

Default painting inside of a canopy?

    Anyone done it? Overkill? Suggestions?

I just had ACE build mine and I am going to take my time to stain and was thinking about protecting the inside. And if any of the light can get bounced back into the tank, that would be a plus...

At the club in FL we had a 5g bucket of white high gloss marine epoxy that we passed around. If was very thick, shinny, and guess what, salter water compatible. Not sure if we have a marine store here that has boat paint. Maybe during our trip to port-a we could get some.

I painted mine gloss white. It wasn't marine paint but still to protect if from humidity. Also to reflect some of the light.
