Thread: Anyone handy with the wood?

  1. #1

Default Anyone handy with the wood?

And want to build a canopy for me?

I would try but I know I will fail......want it done and right, ya know...

    I am willing to pay..

I would like it to some what match my stand that I bought at TT in a cherry wood finish.... Or bring it to me UN finished and I will finish it, I just need the hard part done....

Like I said, I am willing to pay....

Can you send me a pick of the stand and idea of size (height) you are looking for. I'm not a pro or anything but I built the top for my 75 and the stand for my corner tank all built with oak and furniture grade finish. "Only way my wife would allow the tank in the breakfast area!"
Back after a 3 1/2 year layoff and ready to learn some new stuff. And, WOW is there is there a lot of new stuff to learn.

You could send a PM to Ace (hobogato). He built our canopy on our 210g and just this month built us a beautiful (and uniquely challenging) enclosed stand / canopy for Mike's 140g. Great work! He'll do it right for a very fair price. Plus he's now affiliated with Wet Acrylics of Mr Cob's Corals so you'd be supporting a sponsor!
