Thread: Hard to Explain

    Default Hard to Explain

We (me included) spend thousands of dollars to grow SPS with amazing lights and filters with fuges, reactors, Skimmers, and many other things and yet sometimes the simplest systems do a pretty good job. The following picture is an SPS coral that I had in my 40 long that was brown under T5HO lamps. When I had to move some of my Brains and Acans from my 300g because of my angels I placed this guy in my 40 Gallon Breeder that I use as a QT tank for my angels before going into the 300. Filter is a pond foam filter and a power head, lighting is a Marineland Reef Capable LED light. The yellow flash is a Rock Beauty that I received fron KP Aquatics from Florida that is doing very well, along with a cherub. (Sorry about the dirty glass and bad picture)

Nice colors on the acro Alton. Gotta love the cherub. One of my favorite and best reef suited angels in my opinion.

Rock Beauties are my favorite angels. IF you can get them to eat, they are great tank mates (they eat only sponges in the wild).

Kara at KP Aquatics told me they can only collect the size as shown. This guy eats like a pig, and I think like all fish the smaller the better because they are still open to different foods. The Cherub set me back a whapping $14 and is suppose to be one of the most reef safe of all angels?.
