    Default 150w K2 Viper on 20 Long

I was just curious if the spread on the K2 viper was enough for a 20 gallon long? I'll only be keeping LPS and softies so maximum par over the length isn't too important, I just don't want any dim areas.

You won't be happy with it. I have a K2 on my 8 gallon nano.

Do you already have the viper? If not, I keep one as a backup if you wanna try it to see how it looks.

I purchased it but I have to wait till I get some free time to actually go and pick it up from another member. I might have to take you up on that to see how two of them look on a 20l. But as of now it looks like I'll be going with a 20 tall.

Just curious though, how have you liked the fixture? Any pros/cons?

I've only needed it once when the ballast on my jbj led hood smoked. It's not sleek at all. It functions well but the moon lights are nearly non existent. I'm not very fond of it as full time light. I'm digging the LEDs way too much anyway.
