Ive seen clothespins in nests before I never pictured the birds actually taking them off the line though. That would be quite a sight to see.

That right there is funny ROFL!

I'm afraid to make them mad. They might steal my other clothes. We are at a standoff right now, I keep chasing them off, so they are sitting on top of my shop, yelling at me.

Kevin, you have obviously not dealt with crows before. They may be irritating, but they are entertaining at the same time. They are quite intelligent, so taking a clothespin from the line isn't a real mental challenge to them.

Better than those )&(&^&^ grackles. I HATE THOSE THINGS. Noisy, messy, screeching ugly birds. I do not tolerate them, at all. That and screeching house sparrows are the two birds I cannot stand. I have a lot of birds around here.......wrens, mockingbirds, bluejays, cardinals, rosy finches, hummers of several species. I love them all, but not the grackles. I declared war on them a couple of years ago when I saw them kill one of my hummers. This is was not acceptable. The grackles don't come here much now, they figured out that my trees are not friendly.

I will tolerate the crows, since I think the silliness will stop once they get their nest built. And little wrens can have their sock to pull threads out of, I'll just leave it on the line. I actually just clipped some dryer lint right next to it, in case they would like that too.

I remember that one Kristy! Hilarious

Here's one that shows how clever they can be. Why take one cracker, when you can take two, or even three at the same time!

No, no, no. Socks in the dryer are just a larval form of clothes hangers. They migrate to the closet at night, and metamorph into hangers.
