What's the best way to get coralline algae off of:
    pumps
    acrylic tanks
    plastic pieces
    dry glass

    vinegar -straight or diluted?
    hydrogen peroxide?

I always use vinegar. It comes right off if you soak it. I use about 50% strength on the smaller stuff (cause I'm always in a hurry and don't like to wait), and poor full strength on sides of the tank, then soak in more diluted. On glass tanks I use a razorblade to speed the process, but I wouldn't on acrylic.

+1 for vinegar about 50% strength

The only thing I've ever seen hurt by soaking in vinegar were those little rubber suction cups. It seems like it makes them brittle and curled up.

I like pure muratic acid that's all nick at the shop uses. just do it outside fumes are bad. I just pour directly on it, did a glass tank and a biocube back plastic wall with no probs. works in min just rinse off really well
