I kinda like more of a clean white look so I will keep the 10k for now and see how it looks, I will probably get a 14k later once it's all up and running to try out to see which I like better.

Ok well I got the sump done and all the plumbing is test fit. Once I pick up some fresh pvc glue/primer I will finish it. As for the sump, the left 5.5g has one glass baffle for the chaeto fuge then a egg crate tray to hold carbon, poly fiber, etc. The second 5.5g (on right) just has a egg crate baffle to keep rock rubble form touching the return pump. So thats my plan, left chamber full of cheato and right chamber full of rubble.

water is still cloudy but I figured I would post a pic. Water/rock is in and tank is running, everything looks good. The drain make alittle more noise then I would like so I will have to play with the vent line and maybe add some insulation around the pipe. I also picked up a reef keeper lite for the tank, the main reason I wanted one is to shut down the lights if the tank gets too warm, just that one feature makes the RKL worth the money IMO.

I do like the crisp white look better, the pics look more blue then the tank does for sure. I kinda like the looks of this 10k aquaticlife bulb, it's a nice clean look
