Ordering fish through a LFS

For those of you that have had a LFS order you a fish, how long did you have the LFS keep the fish before you took it home?

Well, If they are special ordering it for you, I would be there to pick it up right when it comes in. not even take it out of the bag...this way it is only being stressed and aclimated once instead of twice. if you just said, "hey next time you order can you get one of ----" something they would normally carry.. then I don't think they should have a problem holding it a couple of days to make sure it is healthy and eating.
