PSK crashing my tank
I've had my tank for 2 years now and struggled with PH range of 7.9-8.1 and a ecosystem that wasn't flourishing. I used many products on the market such as additives and bio-pellets with none to limited success. The Eshopps PSK-300 produced a considerable amount of waste during the period I was overfeeding my tank but as I learned how not to overfeed the amount of waste skimmed significantly decreased if any. I removed my PSK during a cleaning and didn't replace it because it had not skimmed any waste for a few months and I was curious what would happen. Well to my surprise my PH range is now 8.0-8.3 and LPS have begun to show new growth. Has anyone else experienced this?
