Default Whats wrong with my lightning fixture?

I got a 6x80w T5HO Sunlight Supply fixture about a year ago and it works great, but since about two weeks ago it smells like if something is burning. What could it be? one of the bulbs was flashing a few weeks ago but it works fine now.

    Thanks

Maybe something is burning. Open it up and take a look at the wiring.

    Probably a ballast. Not uncommon.

How is the 6x80w T5HO working for you? Although I will be using an LED diy setup, I was about to buy a similar setup on a thirty inch deep tank.

Well 2 of the sockets were burned. They were all melted. I took them out. Are there special ones for each fixture or can I just buy any socket?

BBQHILLBILLY the fixture works great, I have no complains. I think I didnt turn the bulb all the way when I changed it last time and thats why it burned.

I assuming its out of warranty. Can you post pics of the fixture socket? I used those on a 48 inch diy t5

I was going to buy a 4 bulb 80WATT T5 retro with moonlights for $290. I still might just didnt know if I could get the thirty inch depth.
