any info on color spectrum? that's my biggest issue with led lights, and why I haven't traded in my t5 yet.

I bought two of those as well. Was going to DIY but cost the same price and saves me time. I had 2x250w MH @14k and 4 64w PC's.... the LED's blow them away! I love the fact there is no heat! Corals are doing just as well as the they did under the MH. Will see how well the corals grow over the next few months.
What spectrum are you looking for? The color spectrum available in LED is increasing almost daily. My DIY unit will run 4500K, 6500K, 10000K, 420nm, 452-455nm, and even pinks which offer wavelengths in the 425-470nm as well as 540-670nm. I chose a variety of colors as to cover all bases.
-You had me at PWM
I talked to Paul recently and he told me the lights he had made in China were CREE 3 watt leds... Like the ones he had hanging over his tub. Maybe i'm mistaking and he was talking about another fizture... He also sells bridgelux 2 watt DIY kits.
The LEDs he listed are Cree(the XP-E and XR-E) the newer ones people are starting to use are the XM-L.
