Thanks King for this post, I needed something to take my mind off work for a couple of minutes. Depending on the age of the apartments it might be built like a tank. In the old days before structural engineering they would use 2 x 12's centered on 12" centers. If you get a chance see if you can find an open ceiling somewhere?
john..ya ur right ,,i stayed in some on 1604 an if u had a flat tire 4 more then 3 days they would tow it..lol

That's why I hated living in apartments.
As somebody said they had to put a deposit down for their tank. When I got caught with my cat and had to put a deposit down for her the paper had 'aquariums' listed in the not-allowed animals category, or at least one requiring a deposit. Although, I had 4 tanks or so on the 2nd floor when that happened and I never got any grief about them.
