$200 back around 2000? (It was when Alamo Aquatics was on West Avenue) on a 10" Christmas Island Imperator sad to say it did not make a week.
Less than my hubby spent on golf clubs...
Home of the baby picasso!
Only two occasions where we spent more than $50 on a fish and both are still with us and worth every penny! $85 for a female bellus angel that I had been wanting and wanting for ages and $100 on the biggest fattest blue hippo tang that I had ever seen.
There have been a couple of coral colonies in the $100 range but not lately and there have been very few of those occasions.
Mostly I try not to remember what stuff costs because that would take the enjoyment out of it for me.

$220 for a 75 head Aussie Rainbow Acan colony. 2 years later I still have it minus about 15 heads from a not so pleasant encounter with a GBTA.
