Skimmer keeps overflowing

I'm having a problem with my skimmer. It randomly overflows. I'll set it, it's fine for a week or so, then all of sudden, it's gushing water through the cup. It's in a constant depth area of my sump, so I know it's not the water level rising. My skimmer is close to overflow, so I though maybe a drop of water was hitting the venturi intake. I moved it so there is no possible way that water is getting in.

Anyone have any ideas?

what kind of skimmer is it? Can't help with no info.

how much room infront of the inlet and baffle, have you noticed maybe you dosed anything before this happens. mine did this also but it was because the tube from the bio pellet reactor was getting near the inlet, and also when i dose coral snow it does this.

Its a bubble magus nac3+ the effluent from my bp reactor is close to it and I did move it yesterday. I dont understand how that would make it overflow though.

did anything get stirred up when you moved it maybe get into pump. hey but any reason to upgrade is good lol
