Any way to fix it? Will it propagate any more? I am not concerned but the roommates are all up in arms about this and now has me second guessing myself.. It is about 10" from the top and almost dead center.

I drained the tank half way to not put prressure on it.

How big is the tank and how thick is the glass? Can this be the "back" of the tank? You might be able to put a large glass patch on it. I'm not sure I'd trust that kind of damage.

150g i would say 1/2 inch thick... the chip isnt very deep. from what i can tell i havent seen it propagate since i had it filled up for 3 weeks... it is reef ready so the overflows in each of the corners.

I have a 40 long with a fairly large chip out of the back corner. No problems since I've had it filled for the last few months.

I understand the "chip on the side/end" thing - is this chip in the middle of the panel? There's WAY more stress in the middle of a panel than there is on the ends.
