I'd just buy a new one from one of the big-box stores, on sale. Doesn't sound like you need much. A few hundred $$ and you should be there.

I have a ZT Systems Desktop with Quad Processor 3.2ghz, 6GB RAM, 500GB hard drive.
Comes with Keyboard, mouse, tower, Windows Vista 64-bit, all for $360. Paid $1200 2 years ago. Was going to list on CL for $400.
Still in good shape and the tower is shiny black. ZT has mixed reviews. It's an off brand but you can get more power for your money. I have never had any problems with it and have done a lot of graphical/web work on it as well as light video editing.
