I've had an LCP for about 2 years. It's a very easy gun to carry - and I do often.

As for shooting... I can't more highly recommend the magazine extension that adds just a bit to the bottom of the grip. They are inexpensive, and turn a pretty lousy shooting gun into a pretty accurate one. I bought the gun right before my renewal class and took it to the range. Uh-oh. I was worried about passing with it! The gun shop in Corpus Christi had an extension - and I had the second best score in the class. Without the extension, you have only your middle finger and part of your ring finger on the grip. With the extension, you get the full ring finger on the grip.

Additionally - if you have large hands (Allan...), don't even bother.

P.S. My daughter's boyfriend also has one that he loves. He did 3 infantry tours in Iraq.

I hve shot lcp before and was very impressive .... I went to friends place and shot his Khar 380 and did like that aswell..... I even tried his sig 238 and let me tell u it felt really gud anti enjoyed it more than any gun that I hve owned... I still hve to figure out which kne thou ... Sig I like the best but too heavy for my taste... Khar a bit expensive for 380 and requires a lot of breaking period but very reliable bc I hve used their 9mm for years as one of my 1st gun....LCP right now I think worth every penny considering it's price cheaper than the other two....
Still gathering a lot of info about kahr and see what happens

My wife has an LCP and I carry a Kahr 9mm and honestly, they're in two different leagues. If you're willing to spring for it, the Kahr will most likely be a better pistol all the way around.

Khar is nice no doubt as I caried it for 4 years ....
When it comes to 380 u started thinking about the reliability ...
I shot 150 rounds yesterday from khar.....from 50rd Winchester 95gr I got three failure to feed and 100 rds pmc 90gr went flawless with no issues..... I guess it dnt like Winchester .....
