Default No more ph swings !!!!!'

I was battling with ph ever since I got into the hobby..... My ph was down to 7.7 during my lights were out and after sme time I gave up on it .....
Recently came across the tunze calcium hydroxide dispenser at elegant reef.... Louis and I did some research on it and even started a thread on RC and got some good reviews.....
So I had loui order that for me and now here I am using it with only a little weekly maintenance and ph is always steady around 8.1 to 8.3... My tank and I hve been loving it.....
It sits in my top off bucket hooked up with my auto top off and feeds fresh water and kalk on a slow pace when it requires ......

Im not sure how you have yours hooked up but I almost nuked my 180 when my ato went off the same time the kalk reactor was mixing so just keep that in mind if you have it hooked up that way.

this tunze calcium dispensor that i am using is a plain two plastic bottles that i attached to each other...u hook them up with ur tunze auto top off which than feeds water through it slowly to ur tank...u dnt mix kalk in that bottle...because the water feeds so slowly through kalk power that the kalk power sits on the bottom and dosnt sink to ur tank...
what i do is i put 5 tsp of kalk in that bottles every time i replace my 5 gln auto top of water..which last me about a week
    Thanks
