Default Nice DIY LED kits for a LOW price

I've been contemplating switching to LEDs from my MH/T5 combo for a while. Due to price though I've kind of stood back and watched for something more reasonable. Well I came across these guys there other day and will be making the switch. The price is CHEAP and looks to be a fun and easy build, plus they come dimmable. They've gotten a lot of good run over on nano-reef.com and someone even posted a sweet thread on the how to, step by step. I wouldn't go as far to say that it's top qaulity but its a good start to get your hands dirty in LEDs. Here's the links:

Did you buy this and put it together? If so, was it a PITA?

I read that the bridgelux aren't as good as crees but work very well and are 3 times less in price. If you read the link I posted it anwsers most of your questions. I have not purchased the unit yet but fully intend to.

From my understanding and experience there are many different LED out there that made from China which look just like Cree and way cheaper. I have also encounter many of them and also put it to the test to compare with Cree which nothing came even close. Bridgelux it is way cheaper but from my experience after 4-5 month the LED will get dimmer and some even burn out while my Cree Xpg still hold it is par. So i would deff becareful before i order, sorry iam not trying to talk bad about Birdgelux LED, but i have experience the problem while i have them so i do not want another reefer to fall into my footstep. Cree LED does cost more, but if you going toward LED which im assume you are. I would rather save my money to spent the extra $$ but atlist you won't have to worry much later on. If you decided to stick with Cree you are welcome to mention my name with Mike from Rapidled iam sure He would give you a huge discount. I do not get anything out from this, Mike is a good friend of mine so any friend of Tommy is Mike's friend too i guess. But anyway good luck with the build and if you need help regarding the build which iam sure you already know how, please feel free to ask me i would be gladly to help within my knowledge.
