Just be real careful handling them. The little ones can be really sharp. And if one breaks off under the skin the lasting pain is extreme.

lol yea iv had one cut me before good thing it didnt break in my finger!

on a side note i just moved and my tank was full of purple algae on the walls and now its all white! the walls are almost transparent wtf! was it cus it was out of water for too long?

yeah, normally if the purple coralline is white...it's dead or on the way out, not to worry though it will come back. Just leave it be.
