Rob, I'm the poster boy for Apple Haters (mainly cause of proprietary software), but I gotta admit the iphone4 is nice. I was comtemplating the Epic as well, but after serious consideration I choose the iphone. I would have picked up the 4s, but needed a phone ASAP.

I even went back to Sprint after a week to exchange for the Epic, but after comparing them again in the store, I left with my iphone. The Samsung just seemed cheaper, and the screen was not as clear.

A few weeks later and I'm used to the screen size and happy with the phone. I suppose it's not as exciting as a newer/different model, but I kinda like the familiarity of the operating system and not changing docking stations/adapters ect.

One note on AT&T, I always though they were good on customer service - WRONG.

They let me walk after not allowing me to upgrade a month early from contract (no biggie but didn't make much sense to lose a customer over one month. But it got worse, they informed me yesterday that my phone numbers were ported over a day after billing, and that I would be liable for the entire months service - FOR ONE DAY OF SERVICE! Plus, I would still have to pay $65 for each phone early termination - for the same month I'm paying full price! I spoke to a supervisor and she would not pro-rate or eliminate the cost.

I will never use AT&T again, and will be getting rid of my U-verse TV/Interent account today as well.
