so..as mentioned above I too was expecting a larger screen, perhaps a new look and definitely not very stoked about "no 4g".

I've waited a long time for the iPhone, I've even been phoneless for like the last 4 months...but now it's here and I think I'm going for the Epic 4G Touch...played with it yesterday and even popped on it for my wife...she loves it. Huge 4.5" screen, super lightweight and has all the perks of a touchscreen smartphone.

My line is still parked which is why I upgraded hers first, figured I'd sample hers while I'm only paying $8.99 a month...but I'm pretty sure I'm going with the Epic now.

Anyone else have the Epic 4G touch? I also played with the 3D phone too...looked pretty sweet but not really a big fan of a 3D phone.

Just as the 3GS was more of a upgrade, so is the 4s. Which I will still get, when they are available.

The 4G is Not a deal breaker for me, IMO I don't think it's that much better..

Get the iPhone already, you will eventually.... So knock it out while you can and while your contract is ready....

The thing I would worry about is sprints network that was having issues with the iPhone.

I have been amazed by the amount of ppl that would knock on the iPhone before they were available on there network, now I been seeing post like "can't keep my eyes off my phone", " I love this phone"... Etc....

My sister that has been with sprint forever switch over to AT&T after never being happy with any touch screen phone or blackberry.... Her words to me we're "why did I not listen to you?", "this is the best phone ever", "I am so happy"....... Seriously........ She is hooked to her phone.

Sorry guys I am an Android fan and love my EVO 3D! Large screen and very fast with a dual core processor. I experiance no lag, its 4G, you can turn the phone into a 4G hot spot and connect up to 8 devices like lap tops and touch pads to it, You can turn the 3D effect on or off. You can view 3D movies and youtube 3D videos on it. The 3D format your phone creates is supposed to be compatable with some of the 3D ready TVs. The 3D feature is a perk of the phone but its not why I wanted it. I wanted it for its power. Even with lots of apps running in the background it still works and never freezes up. I can't personally knock the Iphone. I am just telling you what my experience is with the EVO 3D. Good luck with your search for the best phone.

    I'll take them all dude!

The Epic Touch and EVO 3D are both on 1.2 GHz Dual Core processors and on Android 2.3 so I would think both the Epic and the 3D will run the same. I just like the larger screen on the Epic....but I have had an adroid phone run like crud before so I really want to make sure I don't get more of the same again...which is kind of why I was headed to the iPhone, but I'm kind of bored with the current iPhone.

Which phone did you have before? I currently have the EVO 4G im starting to see minor problems with it, mostly running out of internal memory and some apps causing my phone to crash. Ive looked at the iphone but never really a big fan, i do like the next generation android phones especially the new epic with the bigger screen and dual processor. Interested to see what you get and how you like it.

I had the HTC Hero Google phone, I loved it for the first couple of months...but by the time I got some apps on it, it became super slow to the point that I hated it.

So I used to own the HERO too and it was a POS! The HTC EVO 3D and the 4G both are one of the best phones I have ever owned. I never had any issues with them at all. In fact the Evo 4G worked even though 1/2 the screen was out. The touch part I could still use even though I could not see it.. LOL

I ran an old Iphone and was no where near impressed. AT ALL. I switched over to Verizon after having issues with At&t so that compounded problems.

Anyway, I eventually went with the original HTC droid when it came out and was happy. I then upgraded to the Motorola Droid X and cannot say enough good things about it. Never one single problem. I am due for an upgrade for the last 6 months and have not found a reason to trade this phone in.
