Red sea max vs. nano cube vs bio cube

I am new to plug and play all in one aquariums. I want to get a new all in one, but i am not sure which one is best. The choice is between the red sea max, nano cube by jbj, and the biocube by oceanic. Please give me pros, cons, and opinions on which one is worth my money.

i had the 28g biocube, I liked it, the stock tank gives you 3 36w pcs so you will probably end up upgrading your lighting, The biocube ballast are notorious for going out i replaced 3 of them in the 3 years i had them. Also fans get pretty noisy after a while, there easy to replace at about $12 dollars per fan at a computer store. Also after a while the tank seemed a little bit small in size which is why i am now upgrading, i think the red sea max has t5 lighting and its a bit bigger. If price wasnt a factor i probably would have went with that.

I have a aquapod 24 that I might get rid of soon. I upgraded the return to a MJ1200 and the lighting to 3 ecoxotic panorama LED strips(1 actinic/ 2 50/50). It has been a great little tank and upgraded what needed to be, the pump and lights. The fans were noist and bother some too, so they are gone...

a few things are off on this post... bio cubes are 29g and they have 2 36 watt pc bulbs

red sea max 34g tanks say they are "t5 lighting styled bulbs" or something along those lines but what they really mean is they are PC bulbs = junk IMO

the 65g ? red sea is a nicer tank with a 6 bulb t5 fixture but the bad thing about red sea tanks in general are the pumps are GARBAGE they come broken from the factory lots of times...

the 28g nano cube seems to be ok ... of them esp. the 3w led version the 1w led had some issues with the gasket that keeps moister out of the fixture .... hqi runs to hot ...

thanks for the correction, i totally forgot they only come with 2 36w pc bulbs, i had bought it with the upgraded hood. Also had not idea they wherent t5 bulbs in the RSM tanks, Sucks that they would advertise them that way.

I have a red sea max. I love it! I have been running it for over a year now. The lighting is actually very good. They are flourecent lights that put out T5 lighting. Didnt find that out until after i recieved my tank. The only cons are that it takes the skimmer a month or so to break in and due to this micro bubbles are present until then, and to help with filtering I added an external canister filter b/c it doesn't have the best filtering. I haven't had issues with my pumps, but have read a lot of negatives on them. I heard red sea has released better pumps recently anyhow. all in all I'm very happy. The tank is expensive, but it's great quality and great customer service.
