Feed your critters! The ocean is full of food. They didn't ask do get fished out and spend the rest of their days on a diet.

I feed every other day 1x. My aunt never feeds her 75 gallon reef tank. She has 2 damsels and a scooter blenny. She has had them for a year and no issues. I don't know what the heck they eat but they sure are healthy. I know she has a really big population of pods.
I think that cold blooded animals can live (not thrive but live) for a very long time on less than adequate food.
Maybe my views are extreme but: if you choose to take responsibility for an animal then that responsibility includes providing adequate nourishment.
Adequate meaning thrive, not just survive.

I feed a strip of Nori every morning along with a cube of frozen. Then my tank mates get two cubes of frozen in the evening, and every other day I feed straight coral food along with regular feedings. Basically I feed heavy.
I vary on food, but always use mysis and spirulina for fish in conjunction with other types. Corals get various frozen food and phyto, chromo, and zoo plankton.

Ahh, okay... Lol yes they get a mixture from squid, bloodworms, mysis, brine, krill, pellets(not too often), red and green seaweed, algae n reef flakes. They seem happy and are very healthy, all of them.. I change my water every 2 weeks and sometimes a little in between but never longer than 2 weeks....

NEW BUILD COMING SOON
PE Mysis is more expensive but well worth it. The protein is a lot higher, plus the shrimp are much bigger than other brands.
I alternate between PE mysis, squid, clams on half shells, spectrum pellets, blood worms, and baby brine.
