On one of the shows last night they talked about how high the pollutant levels in the young sharks were. They eat the bottom fish - such as cod which have been eating our pollutants - which then causes an astronomical rise in mercury and other toxics in the sharks. If we don't kill them all by fishing, netting, and long lining then we kill them through garbage.
