look whats coming out on one side of this chalice...it is as soft as rubber band and its about 2" long...it matches the color with rim...

i dnt know dnt seems to be an algae...look at the color its no diff that color of the chalices rim...and its sprouting out of the chalice

neomeris annulata.. its an Algae like Chris said.. they are not bad but can spread rapidly,, do a google search and you will find lots of images

yeah they remind me of bean sprouts...I have seen a tank full of them before and it was kind of cool looking.

I get some of that macro growing from one rock every once in awhile. It seems to die off easy, I wish it would stay around it's really cool looking.
