San Antonio aquarium?

Why isn't there one? Is it cause we have sea world?Just wondering, cause I would definitely be interested if we had one. I am sure some of you would too...

Interesting topic... I think we'd all love a SA aqurium. We have the zoo and sea world (as you mentioned). But no dedicated aquarium. I'd donate several frags towards SA opening an aquarium!

I think the Zoo actually calls itself 'San Antonio Zoo and Aquarium' ;)

It just cross my mind as I was looking for something to do with my son and niece on a Sunday. We have sea world passes but don't feel like dealing with the heat, cars, ppl and walking. Same goes for the zoo, I guess. Would love to pull up to a dedicated aquarium to browse and relax.And yes I would be one to donate what I can..

I would love if someone opened an aquarium in SA. The main aquarium room with the "BIG" tank could have a restaraunt in one section and the main viewing area could have a bunch of couches and chairs for relaxing. There could even be comfy theatre style stadium seating so everyone could sit back and relax.

awesome, then my son would never want to leave.... LOL he likes to go eat at that restaurant thats attached to the Bass Pro shop cause of there aquarium...
