Marine Tattoos

Didn't want to dillute Mike's Trigger Tattoo thread but I thought it would be nice to see a collection. My favorite is still Jarob's gorgeous gorgonian and sponge tattoo. I really like that he kept it just black to really let the textures speak for themselves.As far as colored ones goes, I love this one: It's jsut so cheerful and happy and well who wouldn't love seastars??

Yeah I would consider the starfish more of a girly thing.
You got to be pretty secure to pull that one off.

Cool thread Karin... I wouldn't have minded you jumping on my Tattoo thread at all. The more the merrier. I had intended to be able to add on to the picasso trigger one, but now after the 4 hours of torture, I am having second thoughts. Maybe when the memory of the pain subsides some I will be inspired. Plus Kristy says that "Pablo" is so big, nothing else I get would be to scale...

I want the octopus logo that comes on the lid of there skimmers.want to put it on my arm at the shoulder.

Haha the pain isnt that bad!!! I actually plan on adding some fish to it, a few large anglefish to be exact in that empty space above the gorgs on the left and they will be on the back/shoulder a little bit too. Anglefish because they are really the only "reef fish" big enough to be seen if scaled correctly and they fit in the caribbean theam I have going. The tattoo isnt even close to being done though, it will go all around the other side of my arm and more on my chest too, eventually down to my wrist ;). Im worried about the pain on the inside of the arm!
