I sent a bunch of stuff to a friend in Colorado, what sticks lived were sent to him to test some treatments on. He has saved a bunch of the sticks that I thought were just about toast.
This is my current display much of this was the baby pieces I removed from the stuff I bought from Erik. Nuked would be an understatment as to what I have done to most of this coral. Some didnt come from him but I had a 29 and 15 running with more chemicals than a hot tub for well over a month. The end result was healthy but weak clean stock.
It has had time to heal, mulitiply and grow since then. Here is the current display tank running happy as can be and just about ready for a water change.
The pics make the tank look even smaller than it is. It is a Redsea 65 gallon. For a size example that large duncan colony is the size of a mini basketball at that extension. And the leather is bigger than my hand.
Everything in this tank has been bought or traded for on MAAST.
BTW if you see the frag rack there are a handful of baby Yuma and Ricordeas as well as about a 7 head duncan colony I fragged. These will be in the trade/sale forum today. with better pics.
Its been an adventure and I cant wait to see this tank grown out another year or 2.
