I've never owned either but I think you'd need to either buy an additional add-on module or hook up a wireless bridge via ethernet. You may also need another bridge if your router or modem doesn't have built in wireless. You might also want to look at ethernet over power. That would allow you to hook it up to your router and have all the network traffic run over the power lines in your home. They're slow and not the greatest, but I don't see why you'd need a lot of bandwidth if all you're doing is monitoring stuff from your computer or over the internet.Originally Posted by lsingh
another thing how does the networking wrk on this system...I mean my DT is sitting in my living room and closest computer i hve is upstairs in my room...Does the apex or rke needs a computer to get programmed or it gets programed itself on its own unit....
second how can i run a internet through it wihout hooking the ethernet from my modem since its no way close to it....
