Corpus Christi Chapter?

I was wondering if there was a way to come up with what I call a Sub-Chapter for MAAST? I know it is hard for people to get together sometimes but I think it would be cool to be able to hold frag swaps and meetings here in Corpus at scheduled times. Maybe a frag swap twice a year, and meetings every 6 months or something so that it can be some what local for us down here. We could pass on what happened at the MAAST meetings and put out new info here. Could be linked by emails or even a webcam if you want to get real high speed. Its just a thought because I know that I have no time to travel to San Antonio or farther simply because of my work and school. I am sure others have problems as well. Once again, just a thought.

Just FYI, we have two MAAST events this year in the Corpus area, the meeting we just held at GCReef with the tank tour afterwards, and the upcoming Port A meeting. It would be cool if we could webcam you guys into the other meetings. Some of them aren't structured for something like this, but others would be.

Well, I think wer should get together on this and come up with a plan for a way for us corpus folks to virtually attend or something. I have a webcam, desktop that isn't used, a garage ect.

Nothing was ever moved forward that I know of. Being all volunteer has dome drawbacks.

One good thing is we have our annual collection trip coming up in July. Almost in y'all's backyard. When GCReef was a sponsor we tried to have at least one meeting in CC each year.
