    Default Did you know........

That if you plug in the mixing pump that is suction cupped to the bottom of your saltwater mixing barrel before there is sufficient water..........that you will get a refreshing shower. You will also be mopping the kitchen floor, wiping off the cabinets, and changing your clothes.

    Stupid strikes again.

or that if you leave a little bit of water in the hose the pump with 500 gph at 8ft head pressure doesn't put out a thing even though all it would have to do is pump it up 3 feet and into the hose.
BUT: That very same pump being tested in the sink and without the (half water/half air hose) attached to it manages to shoot water from one end of the bathroom to the other including soaking any surprised testers.
    It's true...

You know how when you make a pony tail, you use two hands for the hair and keep the rubber band handy in your mouth. I've recently noticed many of my hair accessories taste salty - evidence of things not quite working out as expected...

    ROFL Karin.

I have also discovered that an MJ1000 can shoot water much further than you thought possible, from inside a bucket, a bucket full of vinegar water (I am quite sure it wouldn't have gone so far if it had been regular water).

My house smelled like pickles for days. So did my cat. Amused, the cat was not. A vinegared cat WILL get revenge.

And if the hose comes off of the carbon reactor, it can, and will, flood your living room.

Or when you turn on the pump to start refilling the tank after a water change only to realize your watering your carpet because you forgot to actually put the hose "in" the tank.. Done that!

    Yep, I've done that too.

And when we do that, why is our first instinct to UNPLUG the pump, rather than put the hose where it needs to be?? And WHY is that plug so hard to find in the heat of the moment.

It's kinda like getting in the car with the radio turned way up. You will hit the lights, wiper, washers, horn........everything but turn down the radio.

I made another discovery this morning. Just one nerite snail can somehow futz up a 1 1/2" drain line and make it flush. And it was not a big snail either.

I'm kinda glad I am not on video with this stuff, I can replay it just fine in my head.
