Default partial Zooanthid colony stopped opening up

Help, I have a beatiful zooanthid rock that has been in my tank for the past 3 months and has been doing great. last week a section right through the middle stopped opening and just seems generally ****ed. Everything in the tank looks great, the salinity is sitting at 1.025 like always, and my PH/Alk/Calcium are great. Nitrates are at 0 and nothing else is bothered by anything.

I first thought it was maybe too much or too little water flow and moved the return around, but nothing has changed. also thought about the lights, but the zoos all around my tank seem great, including ones with the same general location/orientation to the lights.

I am going to do a more detailed water testing tonight and will post my results then.

    Any ideas?

Here is a pic of what I am talking about.

Here is a pic of my zoo plugs at the bottom which are happy and multiplying

here is an overall pic of my tank, note the mad zoos just above middle water column dead center in the back of the tank.

it's probably nothing...sometimes corals just close for a day or two. Moving the flow around probably didn't help anything either...

If you see them getting worse a nice light iodine dip might help or something like coral revive, I have also had a lot of luck with Reef Dip Coral Disinfectant.

I like to leave things alone and if they still don't improve then I put the coral in low light low flow until it kicks back. I don't recommend doing anything right now until things decline.

I was thinking it was nothing too, but it has been a week and no change.....I haven't done any major changes except water flow movement (twisted the power head about 1/2".

blast them with a turkey baster... perhaps they have some detritus build up in the colony. Maybe, feed the colony after.
