Clowns and flowerpot coral
Anyone ever see some clowns open up shop in a flowerpot coral? I've had my flowerpot for about a month and just last night my male had a HAYDAY inside that thing! He was flying through it, rubbing all over...it was funny. Coral didnt like it much and slowly closed (of course light were just about to go out so it closed up most of the way anyway). Male didnt care. He kept rubbing all over it then convinced the female to move in. So the flowerpot is almost all the way closed and they are brushing on it like Baloo on an oak tree! I think I saw them talking to my sailfin tang, trying to get him to move in.
Today the flowerpot opened back up all the way and both of them are having a good ol' time playing in it. I have a LTA but its on the other side of the 90G so they never really see it. I've heard that the fish might disturb the coral to the point it wont open and will starve. That doesnt seem to be the case so far but then again it's only been 1 day.
Anyone else ever had this experience?
