    Default Simple Rant and Observation

I am angered that within our community, we have a member claiming to be interested in this wonderful hobby, just so they can purchase/trade items from us at a great price, only to resell them to us or on C-List a few days/weeks later. No offense, but I never expected a Used Car Salesman/Pawn Shop Broker mentality within our group. Especially when on a C-List link, you claim to be getting out of the hobby as of 3 days ago, yet you are still stalking MAAST for the next great deal. Don't go away mad, just go away.

    I don't think that's anything new. :(
I've given stuff away for free with a disclaimer that it has some defect/algae on it/etc. just to see it advertised again (for money) and no disclaimer
Or people buy up stuff with a flaw (parasites, etc.) and then resell it without mentioning the flaw so regardless of how honest the initial owner was, endangering other people's livestock.
That actually bothers me more than the money making aspect.

PS: I have no idea who you are talking about so I am definitely not pointing fingers at anybody ;)

I have seen you offer many items for free to everyone, but I never knew that they were being re-sold. That makes it worse than my initial rant.

Not always. Lots of good experiences with giving away stuff as well ;)
It just bugs me more for the reasons in regards to endangering livestock than the money making issue

Some people just can't help being bottom feeders.
    It's sad but true.

    Jack,

In our Hobby, bottom feeders help sift the sand and pick up leftovers, which in essence is there only way of survival, but I know what you meant.

Andrew, I to have been upset by this as I might want something but it gets snatched up by the same person. Glad somebody finally spoke out about it.

    Lol @ bottom feeders.

Sad but true, can't blame them for trying to make a buck. Instead, I feel sorry for them as I would think trying to make $5 is not worth the trouble IMO.

we have been calling this person out many many times before Steve, to try and hint that this behavior is unethical and frowned upon but the same person Continues !

Andrew and i both have heard and seen some things that have pushed the limits that the club is unaware of, i have mentioned this behavior to a Senior BOD Member and was told that there isn't much one can do in regards to the re sell of goods but that this is an open community and we must grin and bear our teeth and hope that this person changes there behavior and/or leaves the site

IMO i really hope this guy just quits his smoke and mirror tricks and finds interest in another hobby

In this hobby you might not discribe this person as a bottom feeder lol you mght discribe them as a glass anem. They are sneakey, and you just cant get rid of them. LOL JK
