Yeah, I'm going to have to mess with mine. I dumped some kalk into my tank last night and clouded up the water and freaked out. No ill effects so far but I'm going to dump some new carbon in my reactor just in case. Lesson learned, I'll be using something else (like a bucket) to test it next time.

Yeah, never even plugged it in. I did move it though but it should have had time to settle. When the pump came on, it was like a kalk slurry. I'm wanting a check valve because I thought it may be due to the reactor being 3/4 full instead of completely full. I'll just have to mess with it I guess. I hope the kalk didn't hurt anything but I think I lucked out.

If you're using the GEO, did you have to put a flow control on the line or something? The Tunze pump seems a bit too powerful and it ends up stirring the kalk up and dumping it my tank.
I almost crashed my 180 because it stirred then the tunze ato came on and the kalk flurry entered my tank. I was scared but everything survived. If I still had a kalk reactor I would just use a controller so they wont turn on together.

It's working as expected now! I cleaned it out really good and it's not dumping kalk. The airline check valve worked and I think that's what did it because it slowed the flow a little. I stirrer would have been nice but they're expensive. :P I did turn the pump on and it seems to do a good job keeping the kalk in the bottom half. Thanks for the help guys!
