    okay so my metal halide bulb just went out. and im a fool for not having an extra on hand. but i was curious how long its safe to leave it with out light? i think its is gonna take a few days for it to be shipped and im gonna check the lfs tomorrow to see if they have a bulb that will fit. but.......... should i panic? ive got an anemone and hammer coral and flower pot coral and an open brain not to men-chin the fishys

    2-3 days shouldn't cause too much of a problem IMO. but the sooner the better. what side of houston are you on? im sure city pets would have some.

    i live on the north west side of houston and ive never been there to be honest ill have to check them out and thanks

    check this out there may be some LFS you dont know about in your area and you could call and see if they have one, since city pets isnt that close in houston traffic on a friday.

    city pets is great though and you should go by there sometime.

    ive gone 7 or 8 days with no lights ..... didnt lose but one zoa frag (odd i know ) what size bulb do u need ?

    okay thanks for the info guys, i went to a L.F.S. and got a bulb, 120 bucks wheew but this light is so clean looking and everything seems fine in the tank, thanks for dealing with my freak out lol
