Hippo tang, honey damsel (Checking interest)
I haven't caught them yet!
I'm hoping to get them with a fish trap so I don't have to tear up the tank. But then I'll need to do something with them in a hurry. I'm in the Windcrest area, can arrange to meet/pick up.
The hippo tang is about 3 inches. It's never shown signs of ich. I got it from GC Reef in October of last year, he was one of their itty bitty babys that had been quarantined. He eats like a pig, anything I toss in there.
*I've seen him nipping LPS.* This is why I'm catching and removing him.
It may be different in another tank with other tank mates. I don't know if this is a behavior that will continue, so if you have LPS in your tank it's risky.
While I've got the fish trap I'll try to catch my parma damsel as well. ("Honey" damsel.) It's almost 3 inches. It's a beautiful fish, but I didn't realize it would grow so fast. He was the size of nickel a few months ago. He hasn't shown any real aggression towards tank mates. He just roots for the bigger fish when she's being mean, like a bully's best friend.
Asking for a good home for them. Trade for zoas if you feel obligated.

Gone to a good home. I'll miss them.
Next time I want to get a fish that may outgrow the tank, remind me how sad it makes me to part with them.
Thanks guys, hope they do well for you.
