Hippo Tang nipping LPS

Part of his problem is he's such a wuss. Are hippos always so skittish even after being established in the tank for a while?:(

my hippo has been with us for two years and he's still very much a coward. Hides until the food is in the water. Weird to as he is the largest fish I have.

I guess that why he is considered more 'peaceful' than other tangs. Poor little thing.
Have you tried stephens idea of putting the feeder over the return pump rather than on top of the tank.
That has worked out pretty well for me in regards to it being dispersed more randomly and fish no longer 'standing in line' at the feeder
