    Default New to MAAST from C.C.

    Hey everyone, been trolling around the sight for a while since Jarob told me about it and thought I'd intoduce myself. My names mike and Im a TAMUCC Marine Biology major who loves the aquarium hobby. Spend alot of time on the houstonfishbox as cichlid1409 for anyone from Houston. currently have a 25g nano reef and a 20L freshwater cichlid tank. looking forward to talking about everything saltwater with yall.

    Welcome! Looks like you have a pretty nice setup already. Care to break it.down for us? Which brand lights did you go with?

    Thanks guys. Im used to having multiple tanks so after downsizing recently I've been able to just focus on this one.

    Tank:
    custom 25g 18" cube, starfire front, drilled top back glass

    Light:
    my new DIY 22-3w led using cree 11 xp-g /11 xp-e

    filtration:
    10g sump, filter sock, mag 3 return, cpr bak pak skimmer, chaeto and salicornia (salicornia still in test phase), 2- koralia evo 1400's
    I ate my fish that died.

    Any fish? What type of corals? What is your favorite? Oldest?
