Oh plus, my 2 teachers (married) have great tanks and are EXPERTS at jetty collecting! They go all the time. I will ask them tomorrow if they'd be interested. (I'm sure they will) (:

i have to call the hotel, but right now we are planning on the weekend of the 15th.

I think it would be wonderful if we could get someone local to guide us on a daytime collection trip for things like........grass shrimp, sargassum searching, and maybe some nerites and other local fauna. Surely there are others besides me that would like to find some of the more odd stuff to take home.

I am so there. I will be staying in Rockport at Goose Island State park. Last year I caught a cute little puffer with my cast net, and a few other neat critters.

Are we supposed to rsvp here? If so, there will be me (charter member) and a guest.
