technomex for getting me started in the SW hobby.

lsingh for hooking me up with a sweet deal on his old biocube and a bunch of awesome LR.

RayAllen for hooking me up with an awesome piece of LR that was covered in the green zoas. Thanks also for a bunch of free mushroom frags and the GSP rock.

Mr Cob for getting me a sick torch coral that has become my favorite piece in the tank

Allan for giving me a good deal on a toadstool frag and all your great advice!

Everyone from MAAST that has helped me out along the way and given me good info and been very welcome to me!

    Ok, now onto the tank!

The tank has been setup since last September. I originally started as a noob and rushed into the hobby purchasing two wild clowns and an anemone for a new tank. The clowns lived for a couple of months, however the first passed due to a failure on my part on mixing the salt and the second passed after the new clown I purchased attacked it (I returned the attacker). The tank sat empty with just the LR and the anemone until two months ago when I decided to purchase two new small clowns from a LFS along with two small zoa frags (one of which has gone from 5 heads to about 16)

The clowns have been my pride and joy and have been healthy ever since. Two months ago, the anemone that I had purchased begin taking up too much space in my tank and kept splitting. I sold the anemone and all its splits to my cousin who has a much larger reef tank. After a month of saving up, I purchased the GSP rock and the large zoa rock from Ray Allen. The zoa's are doing great and have began to cover a bit more of the rock then when I first had them. The GSP hasn't grown much from when I first got it. After purchasing those corals, I switched the tank to BB as a personal preference. During that week, I also purchased my now favorite torch coral from Mr. Cob.

Also during that week, the Odyssea fixture I ordered came and and honestly I love it. The bulb is not as blue as I would like, however I will soon be updating to the Phoenix 14k.

This week I have added a medium sized hairy shroom and my clowns have begun hosting it during the day.

I plan to update this thread weekly with pictures and possibly videos in the near future.

Thanks for taking the time for checking out my system!

Ok, so the ballast of the MH went out (big surprise?) and I sent the unit back and replaced it with the t5 as a temp. I will be upgrading to the Evil Par38 with 60 degree optics as soon as possible. I am also going to mod an aqua clear 110 and us it as a small fugue.

    Here are some pics!

    Finally coralline growing!!!
