Teco Chiller TR20 1/3 hp
hi u all..i need an expert opinion on making an investment on a teco 1/3 hp chiller...
Currently i am running 57 gln DT with 30 gln sump with 300wt of lights on for about 8 hours a day...I am planning to upgrade to 200 to 300gln not untill the end of this year....My question is this that is it safer to buy a bigger chiller for an under rated tank and is teco is the best investment...????

I've never owned one, but a lfs owner I know raves about them. He carries other brands but teco is his favorite.
It's a good idea to oversize your chiller. One, because it will run less. Two, it'll allow you to upgrade your tank's equipment and/or size.
I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.
