    I remember when I received a free "brown" montipora digitata from a fellow maastard. Within 6 months it went from brown to something like this. Then I moved to another apartment and killed it with a big alkalinity swing Go figure...

    Not my picture but it was pretty close to what it looked like... before I murdered it:
