^ not anymore
only problem with dipping for 5 days with a colony of this size on a rock that big is everything in it dies...so, between myself and ZeroHour it made it's 5 day dip and upon the last day I dipped it for over 6 hours straight just to ensure nothing made it other than xmas zoas....and followed that with a freshwater dip. That was followed by a 4 hour fragging session. I made sure to only frag polyps without any of the rock...amazing how thick the zoa mat was...it was like pulling up old carpet.
I really wish I would have recorded the entire process. I fragged it all underwater to avoid toxins spraying everywhere. I had to change the water in the 3 gallon holding container about every half hour, the toxins were a dark purple color almost like blood and was so thick I could not see anything. I wore long rubber gloves and became a bit dizzy towards the end of the session from the concentration of toxins just in the air.
The rock and remaining polyps were discarded...probably 300+ polyps left on the rock but it had to go....the stench was horrendous.
It was like the ultimate fragging experience...lol
Still waiting on polyps to open in holding tank...so far: nada...lol
