new sump
Alright, I just finished building a new stand and now am looking to upgrade my sump. I currently have a little piggyback system using a 6 gallon aquarium for my fuge, but want an all in one system.
Can I just use plexiglass with a strong epoxy to hold? I have not gone out and really looked at homemade ones, but feel I can build what I want for a fraction of cost to buy manufactured. Any tips or helps with this would be appreciated.

i am just around the corner from you and have a sump that firewater and i built (not qute finished) that you can come take a look at.
plexiglass is just a brand name - usually more expensive than the other brands of acrylic that plastic supply stores carry. also, you assemble it using a solvent - most common one is weld-on.
