Man, too early for this kind of read. So I'm guessing that although it is assumed (proven?) that the skimmer may be removing a significant portion of a beneficial bacteria from the water column, is lack of skimming detrimental to the over all health of the tank?
I really should try the charcoal in a reactor. I've been on bio pellets for about a month so far and am still waiting for the tank to get awesome like. But does the bp put a bacteria in the water after running it through a skimmer?
