which tank to use... 75hex or regular 75 or lionfish and/or eel
Im in debate... I have all the equipment laying around to have another saltwater setup. however, I can't make up my mind to use the 75g normal size tank or a 75g hex. I'm wanting a dwarf lion fish and eel. Not sure which eel yet but not a snowflake for sure. Which tank you think would be best? Oh, I also have a great light for the hex but not the other tank. I have contemplated putting some extra live coral in that tank from my main display... not sure yet

I would go with the regular, just so the lion has more distance to swim.
(kinda like how the length of a tank is more important than the actual gallons for a tang)

A lion, especially a dwarf doesn't usually need that much swimming room. Note sure about an eel.

i dont think it would matter for the lion or the eel since both are pretty sedentary. just be sure to pick carefully as many eels are known to de-spine lionfish and then eat them. a zebra moray may be a good choice.

I like how the lions can hover up and down in the big tank at Polly's.
