    where can I buy aquarium safe silicone and what brand do yall recommend?

    GE II 100% clear silicone from HD or Lowe'sLet it cure for 24 hrs and you are good to add to tank. Also be sure you dont get a tube that has mildew protector or additives like that. Make sure its 100% silicone and nothing else. I think they use a special stronger silicone for actually building tanks though.

    thanks I just need to touch up spot where the overflow came undone a bit. Is this a easy job?

    potentially pretty easy... provided its high up. You dont ever really wanna use silicone underwater so if its a spot where you can drain the water to get to it shouldnt be a big deal

    Sure just lay a bead and smooth out with your finger. Just make sure you drain the water and let it cure for hrs before you get it wet again.

    well it's a new tank I am goin to use it's a 40g breeder it's the bottom part of the overflow? So it should be easier right? Because i m not goin to set it up until like a couple weeks?
